Arizona Awakening
Arizona Awakening
In my Note titled Delta Time I posed the following questions about what I would find under the Arizona sky.
Will I find closure? Will I find peace in my mourning? Will I find a new direction for my life? Will I have a God encounter? Will I find Love? Who knows? I may find it all and then some. Like I said, I’m expecting good things, and who knows? I may find something life-changing.
Firstly, I will say that I did find everything on the list, including love. I found a deeper, more personal kind of Love with my Savior. I completely trust in the plans He has for me now.
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I am far more accepting that my fate is in God’s hands, not mine.
The phrase “accept each day just as it comes to you” is not a direct Bible verse but is well-supported by verses such as Matthew 6:34, which advises against worrying about tomorrow because each day has enough trouble of its own, and 1 Thessalonians 5:18, which encourages giving thanks in all circumstances. These verses encourage trusting in God, finding joy in the present, and letting go of anxiety about the future.
God wants us to accept each day as it comes, along with all that comes with it. I will not waste my time and energy wishing for a different set of circumstances or outcome. Instead, I will trust God enough to yield to My own design and purposes.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God” means that God’s eternal and unfailing love for humanity is so powerful that no circumstance, human action, spiritual power, or even death itself can permanently sever the connection with God’s love for those who are in Christ. This promise from the Bible assures us of absolute security in God’s love, emphasizing that God will always remain with us and keep His promises, even when our feelings or external hardships make us feel distant from Him.
Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Every day here in Arizona has been a blessing.
It’s by Divine blessing and appointment that I’m here, and I have not taken one second of my time here for granted.
God has poured Himself out to me out here in the desert. I hear Him more clearly than I ever have. He has blessed me with every step I take. God’s creations here are breathtakingly beautiful and have brought me healing and a newfound excitement for what He has in store for me.
I am on my last day here in Arizona. I will be packing up in about four hours to get ready for an early morning flight back to Georgia tomorrow. I had a wonderful time here in Arizona. I’ve done a good bit of traveling to different cities within a few hours of me. Every thing I’ve seen and every thing I’ve done seems to be right on time as God planned it to be.
It is my prayer that God will richly bless all the friends and strangers who have helped me while I was here. Lord, I ask you to bless every person I spoke with, and every person who waited on me and cared for me. Lord, I ask you to bless every place I went and all the people involved in the businesses that provided me services.
I also want to specifically pray for the Koli Equestrian Center, located on the Gila River Indian Reservation, and all its inhabitants, including the local and tribal governments, health services, water infrastructure, schools, and any other resources that support the reservation.
A special shout-out to the PIMA tribe wranglers who took great care of me on my ride at the reservation. We talked and laughed together the whole ride. It was such a blessing to be surrounded by such caring people.
Thank you for welcoming me to the reservation with such open arms. I enjoyed discussing God and your relationship with Him. I do hope to take you up on your offer to come back again. In Jesus’ name we all pray. Amen and Amen!
Acts 1:7-8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
7 He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with and know [a]what time brings [the things and events of time and their definite periods] or fixed [b]years and seasons (their critical niche in time), which the Father has appointed (fixed and reserved) by His own choice and authority andpersonal power.
8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
Thank You Jesus!
Thank you for reading. Bye Yall! From Gilbert Arizona.
I want to close with these words. Here I am God. Send me.
Please enjoy the song Here I am.

Hello there Larry.
I’ve been seeing your posts for a few weeks now, very interesting, thank you.
I thought you may be interested in what I share; a philosophical look into obscure historic books, like travel guides and geographies.
My latest piece is regarding a particular voyage, and the discovery of giants:

Larry,
I am glad you had a good trip to the desert southwest! It truly is an amazing place. It is a great place to enjoy sun and the people. It can be very rejuvenating! My wife and I enjoyed going there during the winters when we lived in Reno. Have a safe trip back to Geogia!
